Aries Publishing Ltd is a small independent publisher specialising in educational books. However, consideration will be given to books in related fields such as children’s literature, sports and recreation. We would be interested in books on Māori topics and written in te reo.

Huia is an independent publisher with a focus on supporting Māori and Pacific writers, describing the diversity of Māori experiences and perspectives, and promoting the Māori language. Huia publishes fiction and non-fiction for adults and children, as well as educational resources in the Māori language.
Joy Alcock is an author, publisher and literacy consultant who developed the Word Detective series of literacy resources which focus on learning to write and spell and include teacher guides, posters, interactive games, music and early readers. She has now launched an online professional learning website which allows schools to run their own school-based professional learning around spelling and early literacy development.
