S & L Publishing (Trading as The Literacy Place) is the publisher of The Writing Book (2013), The Oral Language Book (2016)  and The Reading Book (2019). These books offer practical advice, strategies and support material for teachers.

The New Zealand Council for Educational Research (NZCER) is New Zealand’s only national, independent educational research organisation. NZCER Press is the organisation’s publishing arm, publishing research-based assessment tools, journals, books and classroom resources, written by external authors and in-house researchers. We write and publish Te Reo Singalong books. We started the company in 2012 and since then we have sold around 50,000 Te Reo Singalong books into early childhood centres and schools throughout New Zealand. We currently have 13 titles available, with two more planned for 2017. We also perform our books in a Te Reo Singalong show for children and present Te Reo Pronunciation workshops for teachers. We won the Print category at the Māori Language Awards in 2013. We also won two awards at the CLNZ Educational Publishing Awards in 2015 – the judges choice award for Best Resource in Te Reo Māori and the Teachers’ Choice award for Best Resource in Te Reo Māori.
