Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) 5 Feb – 10 Feb 2014

The Taipei International Book Exhibition is the most effective marketplace for rights trading, and sales and distribution of all content across print, TV, film and digital media in Chinese-language publishing.

Taiwan has a book-loving population of 23 million people that can support more than 40,000 new titles every year. It is a mature market that endorses all genres, due to a long history of conscientious and discerning publishers. TIBE 2012 saw 800 events for visitors and publishing professionals with more than 608,000 visitors in attendance over the 6 days of the fair, plus more than 500 local and international reporters and 420 international publishing houses from 60 countries.

PANZ first attended TIBE in 2011 and is managing a collective New Zealand publisher stand at TIBE 2014 with a greatly enhanced NZ publisher representation and in 2015 New Zealand will be the Guest of Honour Country at TIBE.
